Letter from the PTSA President

Dear Sudbrook Family and Friends,

I welcome both new and returning students in the same spirit of excitement for the successes they will achieve, the challenges they will grow through and the lasting relationships they will foster throughout the 2015-16 school year. Parents I know you are proud of your children acts of discipline and steadfastness as they pursued the goal of admission into Sudbrook Magnet Middle School.  And I am so happy they are here!

As PTA president, I am proud of all our students and through support of the PTSA Board, we plan to continue to build on their hunger for intellectual pursuits and perservance towards perfection in their respective magnet.   Sudbrook has a long held legacy to be “Relentless in our pursuit of excellence in academics, character and leadership,” as parents and teachers we must join together and support our future leaders.  And, you can accomplish that in multiple ways, by joining and actively participating in your PTSA, by getting to know your child’s teachers and supporting the teachers in their instruction and most importantly by remembering to encourage, instruct and guide your child towards his/her very best in academics, character and behavior.

We are planning events and activities that will foster confidence in ones abilities, will help students to set and reach higher academic goals as well as will increase students’ social awareness of compassion and respect that will expand beyond the walls of Sudbrook and have a positive impact in the communities in which we live.

Please join me, the PTSA Board and teachers on one accord as we strive to help all our students realize they are “Soaring Eagles.”

Sincerely,

Sabrina Jones

PTSA President
