About Us

Sudbrook Magnet Middle School is located in the northwest area of Baltimore County. Students come from more than 45 feeder elementary and private schools. Sudbrook is a pure magnet school allowing students to take daily 90-minute classes in one of four magnet areas: Environmental and Earth/Space Science, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, or World Languages. Our rigorous academic program is based on the Maryland State Curriculum. Students complete courses in English, social studies, math, science, reading (grade six), physical education, health, and additional elective courses (technology, music, Spanish etc). Sudbrook follows a four-period, alternating A/B Day schedule allowing students maximum course selection flexibility. Required school uniforms also provide room for flexibility. Students may choose from several Sudbrook polo shirt colors paired with khaki-colored pants, shorts or skirts. Sudbrook students consistently score well on standardized tests and continue to be recognized for their accomplishments in World Languages, Academics and the Arts.
